Automated Tracking and Move Reporting

The iTS G-POS system tracks and reports the movement and position of the container handling equipment in real-time, reporting the exact location every time a container is picked up or set down. The system is designed to be user friendly and can be implemented in standalone mode, transparent to the handling equipment operator or with a touch screen interface to show the work instructions. Single touch container selection, driver warnings for incorrect moves and a constant readout of the current yard location also feature.

The G-POS GPS system fully integrates transparently with existing port infrastructure and terminal operating systems in a way that provides user friendliness and high levels of automation. Our system automatically determines and reports the exact position where a container is put down or picked up by any type of container handling equipment. The system is controlled by an, industrial computer fitted on board each piece of handling equipment, with various sensors used for the calculation of the positions in 3 axis.

The equipment operator is kept in touch with a display mounted in the cab. High brightness touch screen options enables the driver to receive and execute container move instructions received through the radio data system.
